Thanks for the note. I find it interesting that you still use version 1. What is it about version 1 that you like better than version 2?

Your time calculator is great! It would be even better if keyboard entry worked. Poking at the buttons with the mouse is pretty awkward.

I'd like to offer my thanks on the time calculator, too! I work in radio...and produce programs that depend on me being able to keep track of segment times as the recording session happens. Even though the mouse has to be used to click the numbers, it is a relief and blessing to be able to use your time calculator.

God Bless!

@Todd:

I always enjoy hearing from radio people since that was the use I had in mind when I wrote this program.

Actually, you can use the keyboard. See the keyboard shortcuts section of the help for details.

I see this is quite an old post, and you have recently updated your website (very nice new look!), but I decided I would love to express my thanks for the time calculator as well!

I'm an editor for a syndicated, pre-recorded radio show and use it to calculate the new time minus the producers' time edits. It's incredibly handy. thanks for making it available!

Hi, I am looking for a lottery strategy in which the numbers chosen all add up to the same thing, for example
9 + 14 + 20 + 23 + 25 + 43 = 134

and

9 + 13 + 19 + 22 + 24 + 47 = 134

and so on

kind of like a lottery wheeling system
but it's so time consuming to figure these kind of number combinations which are different but yet equal the same when added together. I happened across your time calculator and was wondering if maybe you could create a calculator in which the number range was like a lottery range of numbers like 1 through 49 (regular 6/49 lottery) or 1 through 59 ( powerball lottery) and when you clicked on the numbers you wanted to choose it would add them up when the numbers were chosen or maybe some sort of calculator with sliding controls where you could slide a set of selectors over the numbers and it would add the numbers up as the sliders were moved up and down the calculator. Could you create such a calculator? It would be really cool. :)

Have A Nice Day. :)

@Nan: That sounds like a good project for you to use to learn programming. :)

While a program such as you describe is possible, I won't be writing one. It'll take more time than I'm willing to spend on any lottery. (Because lotteries are just ways to waste money.)

Hi, I came across your time calculator from a search about lottery calculators on google, I did'nt find what I was looking for, but I noticed that you created a time calculator and was wondering if maybe you could make a lottery calculator, where when the numbers were chosen that they would show the sum of what they added up to. It is very time consuming trying to figure that sort of thing out manually. This strategy works kind of like a lottery wheeling system where each pick is different but equal the same sum when added together. Here is an example
9+14+17+20+26+43=129
and
9+13+18+20+25+44=129
and so on.
It would be a really great tool for people who play the lottery.
Maybe if you put the numbers 1-59 so that most of the pick 6/49 and powerball and mega millions were covered that when the numbers were picked it would add them up automatically each time a number was picked or un-picked like put a check mark by the numbers you wanted or uncheck any number and choose another number it would add them up that way or maybe a lottery calculator that had slider selectors that slide along the calculator and placed on the numbers that was to be chosen.
Could you make something like that? It would be really nice and lots of people would really enjoy such a tool.

Have A Nice Day. :)
Sincerely Nan
